The School of Chemistry building at the University of Bristol is a 5-story building hosting classrooms and laboratories. The original building, built in 1960, received a comprehensive renovation in 2007 that included structural frame repairs. Existing windows were replaced with high-performance solar control double-glazed ones and rain-screens in the south facade. Walls were over-clad with insulated render.
