DESCRIPTION
New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) is an academic building in Manhattan, New York, USA. The building, originally built in 1949, underwent a re-clad in 2011. Original facade design was based on horizontal bands of formed aluminum panels at spandrels and horizontal ribbon windows. The actual built facade incorporated limestone spandrel panels in lieu of the aluminum panels. The limestone panels and the windows were inset into an 8” wide limestone surround frame.
